With many years as an elementary teacher, teacher educator and university administrator, Jackie is a heart-centred, inspirational keynote speaker, workshop presenter and author. She is passionate about inspiring all educational stakeholders to be the best they can be so they will be agents of change. Her work at Hearts and Minds Matter is grounded in her belief that learning environments must be safe, nurturing communities where students and educators have what they need to thrive and grow. Jackie is a champion of children and educators as she works with them to facilitate educational transformation. Her doctoral research on the ethics of care demonstrates her core value of the importance of caring connections in classrooms and schools.
